Providing Customers with What They Need
Since 1994, DEW has supplied vehicle protection for more than 6,000 vehicles worldwide, including serving as the sole supplier of exterior Add-On-Armour for the U.S. Stryker Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV). Our ballistic door panels for police and security vehicles and our add-on armour for military platforms are developed around customer-defined protection and test requirements, supported by in-house inspection, testing and quality processes.
Our capabilities include an in-house ballistic range and ITAR-free armour solutions tested on-site and by militaries to balance protection, cost, and weight against ballistic, mine-blast, and IED threats. Guided by the philosophy of giving customers what they need, on time, we use partnerships and innovation to deliver comprehensive, one-stop support.

With over twenty years of experience designing and manufacturing armour systems, our products are developed around customer requirements and applicable protection and test standards. Our portfolio includes composite armour solutions, ceramic-backed systems and modular add-on protection packages engineered for vehicle-specific survivability requirements.
Our products are extensively tested and evaluated at our on-site test range by our team of experienced ballistic technicians. Constructed to withstand ballistic and mine-blast threats as well as Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), our armour has protected soldiers around the world. Using advanced ceramic strike faces, composite backing materials and hybrid armour architectures, we develop optimized protection systems that help defeat evolving threats while managing weight, integration and lifecycle demands. This layered approach allows DEW to tailor solutions for mobility, payload and mission profile without compromising protection performance.

Trailers
Using the latest and most innovative cutting, welding and finishing technologies, DEW has designed and manufactured thousands of military trailers, from simple two-wheel utility trailers to complex multi-axle wagon-type load handling system (LHS) trailers to fully integrated mobile kitchen trailers.
DEW also manufactures trailer sub-systems, such as decontamination equipment, jerry cans, stowage boxes for camouflage nets and other, on-vehicle equipment. Integrated engineering, prototyping and serial manufacturing capabilities allow DEW to cost effectively create innovative SEV kit solutions.

DEW Engineering provides comprehensive military truck services to extend vehicle life, restore performance, and adapt fleets to evolving mission requirements. Core capabilities include life extension, repair and overhaul, reconfiguration, and upgrade and modification—delivered through fully integrated engineering, manufacturing, and in-service support. Vehicles are modernized to meet current performance, survivability, and compliance standards, ensuring reliability in demanding operational environments.
From vehicle assembly to specialty variants, DEW partners with OEMs and defense organizations to configure trucks for mission-specific roles, including mobile systems, shelters, and recovery platforms. Support is reinforced by spare parts provisioning and integrated logistics, enabling full lifecycle sustainment.
